View our workBuildings that are rooted in their place, from listed homes to community halls.
For nearly twenty years we have designed homes, workplaces and community buildings across the region. We start with the site and the people who will use it, and we detail every building properly, because the detail is usually what separates a good idea from a good building.

Projects shaped by where they are.
A closer look. A different perspective.
Move around the model, follow the floor plan and discover the finished spaces.
One practice, three kinds of building.
Homes & extensions
New-build houses, extensions, and barn and listed-building conversions. Low-energy homes designed around how you actually live.
Workplaces & development
Offices, mixed-use and developer-led schemes, designed around how a business actually runs. We were our own client on our Shipston studio.
Buildings for many
Schools, halls and pavilions that have to work for everyone who uses them, and keep working for decades.
“HSa's attention to detail can be seen in every aspect of our wonderful home. They gave us the opportunity to co-create a living space with the needs and dreams of our family at its heart.”

The Coach House, Shipston-on-Stour
We bought The Coach House in 2010 and became our own client, refurbishing and extending it into the studio we work from today. Being on both sides of it taught us what our clients actually go through, right up to moving-in day. That stays with us on every project.
